Overview
Aldridge Pite, LLP seeks a detail-oriented PPFN Processor to support the bankruptcy practice by managing Post-Petition Fee Notices, monitoring case progress, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely processing of bankruptcy matters.
What You'll Do9
- 1Review bankruptcy files to determine whether a Post-Petition Fee Notice is required
- 2Obtain and review all necessary documentation to prepare PPFNs for attorney review
- 3File and serve approved PPFNs and update internal and client systems
- 4Monitor and manage the Impediment Inventory providing timely follow-up and escalating unresolved issues
- 5Review interpret and update client systems according to client guidelines
- 6Monitor internal system reports to ensure accurate efficient progress within required timeframes
- 7Verify billing entries have been completed as required and close files in accordance with firm procedures
- 8Maintain accurate case records and documentation throughout the life of each file
- 9Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2Basic knowledge of Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings preferred
- 3Previous experience in legal mortgage servicing bankruptcy or financial services preferred
- 4Strong numerical aptitude and basic accounting skills
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel Outlook and internet-based systems
