What You'll Do10
- 1Review bankruptcy files to determine whether a Post-Petition Fee Notice is required
- 2Obtain and review all necessary documentation to prepare PPFNs for attorney review
- 3File and serve approved PPFNs and update internal and client systems
- 4Monitor and manage the Impediment Inventory providing timely follow-up and escalating unresolved issues
- 5Review interpret and update client systems according to client guidelines
- 6Monitor internal system reports to ensure accurate efficient progress
- 7Monitor client-generated reports to ensure timely handling and compliance
- 8Verify billing entries have been completed and close files according to firm procedures
- 9Maintain accurate case records and documentation throughout the life of each file
- 10Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2Basic knowledge of Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings is strongly preferred
- 3Previous experience in a legal mortgage servicing bankruptcy or financial services environment is preferred
- 4Strong numerical aptitude and basic accounting skills
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel Outlook and internet-based systems
- 6Ability to learn and navigate multiple case management and client software platforms
- 7Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- 8Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 9Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- 10Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team
- 11Commitment to providing exceptional client service
