What You'll Do6
- 1Design and execute bench experiments with the lab head, using lentivirus and oncoretrovirus vectors to engineer T cells
- 2Supervise technicians in daily operations, coordinating with core labs for sample processing and flow cytometry
- 3Manage data pipelines, analyzing experimental results with Prism or FlowJo to guide next steps
- 4Draft experimental procedures and manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals, presenting findings to the lab
- 5Maintain detailed laboratory records and inventory for sample tracking
- 6Optimize protocols for T-cell expansion and transduction, improving yield and viability
Requirements7
- 1PhD or MD/PhD with a background in immunology or related field
- 21+ years handling mouse models, including tumor implantation and tissue collection
- 3Experience with human blood and tissue sample processing, including Ficoll separation and cryopreservation
- 4Strong background in molecular biology techniques, including PCR, Western blot, and flow cytometry
- 5Demonstrated ability to analyze data using GraphPad Prism and FlowJo
- 6Excellent written and oral communication skills, with published first-author papers preferred
- 7Self-directed and organized, with effective troubleshooting in a dynamic research setting
