Overview
Join Dr. Eric Padron's lab at Moffitt Cancer Center to drive translational research on chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML). You will own experimental design and execution in a lab that bridges basic immunology with patient care. What You'll Do6
- 1Design and execute experiments to investigate CMML pathogenesis and treatment approaches.
- 2Maintain accurate research records and contribute to manuscript preparation, grant writing, and peer-reviewed publications.
- 3Stay current with relevant scientific literature and bring innovative ideas to the lab's research direction.
- 4Collaborate with internal and external teams, including clinicians, bioinformaticians, and core facilities, to advance translational research.
- 5Present findings at lab meetings and national conferences.
- 6Lead independent projects while supporting collaborative studies within the lab.
Requirements6
- 1MD or PhD in Immunology or related field.
- 2At least one first-author publication.
- 3Solid understanding of immunology and molecular biology pathways.
- 4Experienced in a basic or translational immunology lab with techniques including cell culture, PCR, flow cytometry, ELISA, and cytokine profiling.
- 5Proficiency in data analysis for immunological experiments using GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, or R.
- 6Basic knowledge of bioinformatics and transcriptomic analysis is a plus.
