Polisher Stocker, Restaurant Operations
Overview
You'll own the polishing and stocking of all silverware, glassware, and dishware across Shaw's Crab House, ensuring every service station stays ready for a high-volume seafood restaurant. You'll work side-by-side with the service team, supporting dish and coffee duties when needed. This role is hands-on, fast, and critical to the restaurant's flow. What You'll Do8
- 1Transport dirty dishes to the dish room, following restaurant specs for sorting and stacking.
- 2Polish all silverware, glassware, and plateware from the dish room to meet spotless standards.
- 3Stock each service station with polished items, maintaining pars and zoning throughout your shift.
- 4Assist the Coffee Person and Dishwasher as directed, keeping the service team moving.
- 5Communicate in English to follow written and spoken directions for daily tasks.
- 6Stand and walk the full shift, moving safely across stairs and slick floors.
- 7Lift and move 25-50 pounds of dishware and supplies repeatedly.
- 8Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines, including handwashing protocols.
Requirements7
- 11+ years in a busy restaurant or kitchen role, handling dishware and stocking.
- 2Proven ability to multitask calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- 3Strong teamwork focus, collaborating with service and kitchen staff daily.
- 4Reliable attendance including weekends and varying shifts.
- 5Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift 50 pounds.
- 6Basic English communication for safety and task instructions.
- 7Food safety awareness with ServSafe or similar certification a plus.
