Plastics Production Operator Minneapolis
Overview
You will own production setup and operation of extrusion equipment producing color concentrates. This role involves 1st shift 7a-3p 2nd shift M-F 3-11:30 3rd shift M-F 11p-7a hourly rate $20-22/hr. You will weigh ingredients check controls and run machinery following safety and ISO standards.
What You'll Do8
- 1Set up and start all machinery ensuring controls adhere to operating procedures and ISO standards
- 2Weigh ingredients to meet recipe specifications or deliver correct ingredients to work area
- 3Insert pre-blended materials into machinery when needed
- 4Monitor production and equipment for safe efficient operation and troubleshoot issues
- 5Operate machinery to mix extrude discharge or handle materials per procedures
- 6Examine materials visually or physically to verify conformance with standards
- 7Perform required machine cleaning
- 8Document work completed including logs data reports and procedures
Requirements5
- 1GED or High School Diploma
- 2Ability to read follow and complete work instructions recipes and quality specifications
- 3Basic computer skills
- 4Previous experience in plastics manufacturing one year
- 5Willingness to work onsite in Minneapolis Minnesota
