Overview

You will own operations for a 200k sq ft facility with 100 employees, driving safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will lead Warehouse and Production teams, implementing Continuous Improvement principles to boost efficiency. You will partner with Sales and Supply Chain to optimize the entire value stream. What You'll Do8

  • 1Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives with strong employee involvement to enhance manufacturing operations.
  • 2Coach direct reports on using Oxco systems and policies, providing performance feedback and corrective actions.
  • 3Establish expectations and guide production engineering to reduce cycle times and standard costs.
  • 4Implement programs exceeding OSHA requirements for workplace health and safety.
  • 5Develop supervisors through training and goal setting, building bench strength for business continuity.
  • 6Optimize the value stream by collaborating with Sales and Supply Chain to improve machine efficiency and material handling.
  • 7Maintain ISO certification through continuous improvement and set housekeeping goals.
  • 8Support plant maintenance and product development while reporting issues to the Vice President of Manufacturing.

Requirements8

  • 15+ years managing a large, complex manufacturing department or plant.
  • 2College degree in business or textiles or equivalent experience.
  • 3Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • 4Strong mathematical reasoning and measurement conversion skills.
  • 5High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and communication.
  • 6Problem-solving skills working independently and with teams.
  • 7Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • 8Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines.
