Overview
Pipefitter with expertise in copper pipe ProPress systems and Variable Refrigerant Flow VRF installations for data center retrofits. Seeking candidates to install and retrofit piping systems while adhering to safety protocols and working outdoors under demanding conditions.
What You'll Do11
- 1Install and retrofit piping systems in a data center environment
- 2Utilize copper pipe ProPress expertise to ensure quality installations
- 3Work with copper and steel chilled water and condenser water piping
- 4Understand and calculate fitting takeouts for screw and weld fittings
- 5Read and interpret blueprints to guide installation processes
- 6Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols
- 7Engage in physical tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting, pulling, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- 8Lead projects to deliver piping systems on schedule
- 9Train junior technicians on ProPress and VRF best practices
- 10Maintain detailed logs of daily work activities
- 11Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons of experience in pipefitting
- 3Minimum of 3 years proficiency in copper pipe ProPress and VRF systems
- 4Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
- 5Familiarity with reaming deburring brazing and soldering techniques
- 6Experience with 3-inch diameter or smaller mechanical drawings
- 7Capability to lift 50 pounds or more and operate lifts up to 15 feet in the air
- 8Proven track record of working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- 9Strong knowledge of copper pipe sizing and code requirements
- 10Experience with VRF system controls and diagnostics
- 11Commitment to safety compliance and incident prevention
