Overview
You own piping installation and team leadership on long-term commercial and industrial projects across the DFW Metroplex, including hospitals, data centers, and universities. 5+ years of pipefitting experience, with OSHA 30 and NCCER certification preferred. You work from blueprints and isometrics, installing carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper systems. Foreman roles lead crews of 5+ workers and manage schedules to meet project deadlines. What You'll Do10
- 1Install carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and PVC piping systems on commercial construction projects.
- 2Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specs to plan and execute piping installations.
- 3Lay out, measure, cut, fit, thread, groove, and assemble piping systems to design and industry standards.
- 4Install hangers, supports, valves, pumps, and mechanical equipment to complete piping assemblies.
- 5Set equipment, tie into existing systems, and ensure proper integration and function.
- 6Assist with pressure testing, system flushing, and startup procedures to verify performance and safety.
- 7Coordinate with other trades, project teams, and site leadership to maintain efficient workflows.
- 8Maintain high-quality workmanship while meeting project schedules and productivity targets.
- 9Follow company, client, and OSHA safety requirements and promote a safe work environment.
- 10Lead a team of 5+ workers on active projects, managing scheduling, manpower, and productivity.
Requirements10
- 15+ years of commercial or industrial pipefitting experience.
- 2Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping diagrams.
- 3Hands-on experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper piping systems.
- 4Strong knowledge of piping installation methods, safety practices, and industry standards.
- 5Familiarity with HVAC, mechanical, process piping, chilled water, hot water, and hydronic systems.
- 6Proficiency in plumbing and mechanical installation in commercial and industrial environments.
- 7Reliable transportation and ability to work overtime as needed.
- 8For foreman level, experience leading a team of 5+ workers.
- 9For foreman level, experience managing work on hospitals, universities, data centers, or large commercial projects.
- 10OSHA 30 certification and NCCER certification preferred.
