Pilates Instructor, Rainier Square Equinox
Overview
You will own the pilates experience at Equinox Rainier Square, teaching private, duet, and semi-private sessions to a diverse member base. Your sessions build from a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training and 400+ hours of education, and you will work with a dedicated Pilates Manager to grow your client book. This role offers free continuing education workshops, bonus opportunities, and a clear path to Pilates management and educator roles. You will train in a high-energy club with top-of-the-line facilities and a supportive team of fitness professionals.
What You'll Do10
- 1Design a safe, professional, and comprehensive Pilates program for each client, tracking progress toward their goals
- 2Run initial assessments and goal-setting sessions to recommend tailored training plans
- 3Instruct private, duet, and semi-private sessions using mat, reformer, cadillac/trapeze, wunda chair, and barrels
- 4Collaborate with Pilates Manager to build your book of business through member referrals
- 5Complete administrative tasks and client management records on time
- 6Coordinate with other departments to provide a holistic club experience
- 7Deliver excellent customer service to members and guests
- 8Maintain consistent client schedules to drive results and retention
- 9Participate in ongoing training and development workshops
- 10Keep studio and equipment clean and organized
Requirements7
- 1Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training certification covering mat, reformer, cadillac/trapeze, wunda chair, high or combo chair, and barrels
- 2Minimum 400 hours of Pilates education through a certification program
- 3Valid copy of Pilates certification(s)
- 4Exceptional customer service skills
- 5Ability to stand, sit, walk, squat, bend, and reach during sessions
- 6Physical capability to push, pull, and spot clients safely
- 7Legal right to work in the United States
