You own direct patient care at an Interventional Pain Practice in South Austin, managing evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for chronic pain patients. What You'll Do7

  • 1Conduct physical exams and evaluations for pain management patients, documenting symptoms and progress.
  • 2Diagnose and treat a variety of pain conditions, prescribing medications and regimens per protocols.
  • 3Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care with other providers.
  • 4Direct and coordinate patient care activities of support staff, ensuring adherence to policies.
  • 5Follow quality, safety, and infection control standards in all patient interactions.
  • 6Participate in health promotion, education, and prevention programs as needed.
  • 7Perform misc job-related duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Requirements10

  • 1Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • 2Current PA license in the State of Texas (Active).
  • 3Personal Injury experience preferred, but not required; new grads can apply.
  • 4Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress.
  • 5Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for medical care delivery.
  • 6Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
  • 7Knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements.
  • 8Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • 9Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • 10Spanish speaking is a plus.
