Overview
You will assess and treat patients with acute and chronic pain in a multi-specialty Bronx practice. Working under physician supervision, you'll issue prescriptions, perform procedures, and respond to emergencies. NYS License and Board Certification are required. The role includes spine and joint care with full benefits and loan repayment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Assess patients' pain conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- 2Prescribe medications and administer injections for pain management.
- 3Perform routine procedures: measure vital signs, administer injections, and prepare patients for exams.
- 4Provide therapeutic treatments such as wound disinfection and stitching.
- 5Review patient histories to identify abnormal conditions and report findings to physicians.
- 6Monitor patient progress, document treatments, and update records.
- 7Respond to medical emergencies and provide support during surgeries.
- 8Build trust and compassion with patients to improve adherence and outcomes.
- 9Comply with medical regulations and safety standards.
- 10Collaborate with specialists across the practice to coordinate patient care.
