What You'll Do6
- 1Assist physical therapists with patient care and exercise execution to ensure safety and positive outcomes
- 2Instruct and motivate patients in activities like ambulation, transfers, and daily living tasks
- 3Safeguard and guide patients through exercises under professional supervision and demonstrate correct form
- 4Observe patient responses to treatment and report progress to the therapist
- 5Communicate patient progress and reactions to treatment to the therapist promptly
- 6Support a treatment plan grounded in Applied Functional Science and contribute to a positive patient experience
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 2Minimum 18 years of age
- 3Majoring in kinesiology biology or exercise science preferred
- 4Prior experience or knowledge as a physical therapy technician
- 5Willingness to participate in a 6-month onboarding program
