What You'll Do11
- 1Complete comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations
- 2Identify mobility limitations and functional impairments
- 3Develop individualized plans of care with measurable goals
- 4Provide skilled Physical Therapy treatment within assisted living communities
- 5Schedule and manage assigned patient visits
- 6Discuss treatment plans with patients and families
- 7Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists when appropriate
- 8Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- 9Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress
- 10Supervise a Physical Therapist Assistant
- 11Provide appropriate supervision to a Physical Therapist Assistant
Requirements10
- 1Holds a degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- 2Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida
- 3Interest in orthopedic and geriatric care
- 4Values individualized relationship-based treatment
- 5Communicates clearly with patients families and healthcare professionals
- 6Organized and comfortable managing a patient schedule
- 7Demonstrates compassion accountability and strong clinical judgment
- 8One to three years of experience preferred
- 9Authorized to work in the United States
- 10License/Certification: Physical Therapy License required
