What You'll Do7
- 1Own the full treatment cycle for patients, from initial evaluation to discharge, using manual therapy and modalities to achieve functional outcomes.
- 2Build personalized rehab plans for orthopedic and vestibular conditions, incorporating orthotic prescription and biomechanical analysis.
- 3Drive patient progress with evidence-based practice, adjusting treatments based on measurable goals and patient feedback.
- 4Collaborate with fellow clinicians to manage a varied caseload across general orthopedics, lower extremity biomechanics, and injury prevention.
- 5Develop and deliver wellness programs that extend beyond traditional rehab, positioning the clinic as a community health resource.
- 6Mentor new graduates or contribute your experience to elevate the team's clinical skills, whether you're a seasoned therapist or fresh out of school.
- 7Document patient care accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and insurance requirements.
Requirements7
- 1Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program, with state licensure in Maryland or eligibility.
- 2New graduates welcome; previous experience in outpatient orthopedics is a plus but not required.
- 3Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practice.
- 4Ability to manage a varied caseload including general orthopedics, vestibular issues, and lower extremity biomechanics.
- 5Excellent communication skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with the clinical team.
- 6Commitment to a functional approach to rehabilitation, focusing on patient-centered outcomes.
- 7Willingness to participate in injury prevention and wellness program initiatives.
