What You'll Do8
- 1Own the full therapy cycle for inpatients, conducting comprehensive assessments and crafting personalized care plans using physical therapy techniques.
- 2Deliver direct patient care, guiding exercises and treatments in our well-equipped gyms, adapting to each patient's progress.
- 3Supervise care and treatment delivery, coordinating with nurses and other therapists to ensure seamless recovery.
- 4Build trusting relationships with patients, addressing their physical, mental, and emotional needs to drive engagement and outcomes.
- 5Document patient progress thoroughly, adjusting plans as needed to meet rehabilitation goals.
- 6Educate patients and families on therapy strategies, ensuring continuity of care beyond discharge.
- 7Drive recovery milestones by celebrating achievements, fostering motivation and a positive rehabilitation environment.
- 8Champion patient safety and infection control, adhering to state regulations and facility protocols.
Requirements8
- 1Current licensure as a Physical Therapist per state regulations.
- 2CPR certification required.
- 3Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree plus sufficient field experience.
- 4Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care settings, with ability to manage high-acuity patients.
