- 1Deliver skilled PTA visits in the home under a supervising PT's plan of care
- 2Execute treatment plans targeting functional mobility and measurable progress including gait balance transfers strengthening and home safety assessments
- 3Track objective progress within PTA scope and communicate updates to supervising PT
- 4Coordinate multidisciplinary efforts by escalating condition changes aligning on orders and supporting care teams
- 5Coach patients and caregivers on practical home programs that promote adherence
- 6Document promptly and thoroughly to maintain accurate records
- 7Support adaptive scheduling and routing tools to enhance field work sustainability
- 8Utilize cutting-edge technology to reduce documentation burdens and improve efficiency
Requirements10
- 1Active Texas PTA license in good standing
- 2Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in the field
- 3Proficiency in escalating condition changes and documenting rationale clearly
- 4Excellent communication and documentation skills
- 5Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle for territory coverage
- 6Competence in core home health PTA responsibilities
- 7Safety-focused approach to mobility work transfers gait training balance fall prevention and assistive device education
- 8Experience with orthopedic or neurological patient populations
- 9Strong organizational skills and time management abilities
