What You'll Do11
- 1Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- 2Collect specimens for drug screens paternity tests and alcohol tests
- 3Enter patient information accurately and timely
- 4Process billing details and collect payments when required
- 5Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs of patient and specimen data
- 6Provide superior customer service to all patients
- 7Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed
- 8Travel to additional sites when required
- 9Obtain a phlebotomy license or submit an application to the CA Department of Health
- 10Pass a standardized color blindness test
- 11Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
Requirements9
- 1High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- 2Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License
- 3At least one month of relevant experience
- 4Ability to pass a color blindness screening
- 5Proven ability to work independently or in a team setting
- 6Flexibility to work overtime and attend two week training in California
- 7Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- 8Willingness to work minimal supervision
- 9Reliable transportation for travel to additional sites
