Labcorp seeks a dedicated Phlebotomist to lead blood collection efforts at our Orange County facility. The ideal candidate will own specimen processing and support clinical teams while delivering precise patient care. What You'll Do8
- 1Perform venipuncture and capillary draws for all age groups
- 2Collect samples for drug screens paternity tests and alcohol verification
- 3Enter patient data accurately and manage billing collections
- 4Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis and maintain detailed logs
- 5Provide courteous patient interaction and resolve service issues
- 6Handle administrative tasks as required and travel to satellite sites
- 7Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflow
- 8Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulatory standards
Requirements8
- 1California state phlebotomy license with minimum six months experience
- 2High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3One year of phlebotomy experience with Geriatrics and Pediatric patients
- 4Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- 5Pass standardized color blindness assessment
- 6Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekend shifts
- 7Ability to complete two-week onboarding training in California
- 8Reliable transportation and availability for rotating schedules
