What You'll Do11
- 1Coordinate patient testing needs directly with medical providers
- 2Navigate hospital suites to fulfill diverse clinical requests
- 3Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all demographics
- 4Process specimens for drug screens paternity tests and alcohol analysis
- 5Prepare samples for laboratory evaluation and maintain documentation accuracy
- 6Address patient concerns promptly while adhering to compliance standards
- 7Monitor patient flow and manage inventory levels effectively
- 8Promote interdisciplinary communication among healthcare staff
- 9Enter patient data accurately and manage billing information
- 10Report performance compliance issues to supervisory leadership
- 11Travel to additional sites as required
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent with phlebotomy certification
- 2Minimum two years of phlebotomy experience
- 3One year leadership experience either formal or informal
- 4AAMA or CMA accreditation preferred
- 5Experience with pediatric and neonatal draw protocols
