Pharmacy Technician, LTC & QS/1 Billing
Overview
You will own prescription fulfillment and client intake at a closed-door LTC pharmacy serving special needs clients across Delaware. QS/1 billing and LTC experience set you apart. You'll join a small team handling order entry, inventory, and delivery coordination. This role offers direct impact on patient care and operational efficiency from day one.
What You'll Do8
- 1Input new clients, including demographics, insurance, and prescription profiles, within your first week using QS/1.
- 2Enter and fill prescriptions with high accuracy, verifying drug interactions and dosages.
- 3Bill prescriptions across payer types, resolving rejections and coordinating with insurance.
- 4Answer phones, respond to emails, and greet clients in person, providing clear communication.
- 5Maintain supplies such as vials, blister cards, and labels, ensuring stock never runs out.
- 6Manage inventory by tracking usage, placing orders, and verifying wholesaler deliveries.
- 7Keep the workspace clean and organized, following safety and compliance standards.
- 8Support overtime as needed to meet daily patient medication deadlines.
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma or GED required
- 21+ years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or closed-door setting
- 3Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
- 4QS/1 knowledge and pharmacy billing experience preferred
- 5LTC pharmacy experience preferred
- 6Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb stairs multiple times daily
- 7Willingness to work overtime when required
