What You'll Do10
- 1Prepare and label prescriptions under physician direction, ensuring accuracy and compliance with clinical protocols.
- 2Collaborate with clinical teams to manage and submit medication prior authorizations, reducing administrative burden.
- 3Oversee pharmaceutical inventory, including ordering, stocking, labeling, and proper disposal of medications.
- 4Receive and verify medication shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records across EHR and Salesforce.
- 5Monitor and manage expired and recalled medications, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.
- 6Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical and other vendors to streamline supply chain processes.
- 7Provide responsive, professional service to members, enhancing the patient experience in a concierge practice.
- 8Maintain accurate data across multiple platforms, including EHR, Salesforce, inventory systems, and spreadsheets.
- 9Complete administrative tasks related to medication management, including record-keeping and rejected insurance claims.
- 10Partner closely with Patient Care Administrators, nurses, physicians, and other clinical team members to coordinate care.
Requirements10
- 12+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a clinical or retail setting.
- 2Active Pharmacy Technician certification (e.g., PTCB or ExCPT) and state licensure as required.
- 3Proficiency with macOS and Apple computers, with comfort learning new technology.
- 4Experience using EHR systems and Salesforce for patient and medication data management.
- 5Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in medication preparation and record-keeping.
- 6Excellent organizational and follow-through skills, managing multiple priorities without compromising accuracy.
- 7Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with patients, physicians, and vendors.
- 8Collaborative, service-oriented approach with the ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary team.
- 9Discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive patient information.
- 10Willingness to travel occasionally to other Private Medical locations for training or operational support.
