What You'll Do13
- 1Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care including medication dispensing counseling and patient education
- 2Review prescriptions for accuracy interactions contraindications and appropriate dosing
- 3Support medication therapy management programs and monitor patient adherence for chronic conditions
- 4Collaborate with providers to optimize treatment plans and resolve medication-related issues
- 5Offer clinical guidance on medication protocols formularies and best practices
- 6Manage pharmacy staff performance through training and formal performance reviews
- 7Maintain accurate records complying with federal and state regulations
- 8Ensure Arizona Board of Pharmacy compliance and internal quality standards
- 9Provide culturally competent affirming care to LGBTQ+ patients and those affected by HIV/AIDS
- 10Identify pharmacy performance trends and opportunities for improvement
- 11Assist in managing inventory ordering and controlled substance logs
- 12Participate in quality improvement initiatives audits and staff training
- 13Support patients in navigating insurance coverage prior authorizations and medication assistance programs
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy with equivalent experience
- 3Active Arizona Pharmacist License in good standing
- 4Previous experience in clinical outpatient or specialty pharmacy
- 5Experience with HIV care PrEP/PEP hormone therapy or LGBTQ+-affirming healthcare
- 6Excellent communication counseling and problem-solving skills
- 7Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team
- 8Strong commitment to inclusive culturally sensitive care
- 9Must obtain Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card during background check process
- 103-5 seasons leading pharmacy operations
- 11Certified Pharmacy Management Professional certification preferred
