Pharmacy Data Specialist Pixel Care
Overview
Pixel Care seeks a detail-oriented Pharmacy Data Specialist to join our Cedar Knolls NJ team. You will review prescription and patient information across multiple channels, confirm order details, analyze benefits, and enter data into pharmacy systems. This full-time on-site role reports to the Data Manager and involves rotating shifts to support efficient order processing and patient care.
What You'll Do11
- 1Review and process incoming prescriptions and order information received by fax, email, and other approved channels
- 2Accurately and efficiently enter patient prescription and medication details into pharmacy systems
- 3Identify missing or unclear information requiring review by appropriate team members
- 4Perform benefits analysis and input insurance coverage details to support order processing
- 5Confirm key prescription and order information is captured before advancing through workflow
- 6Route non-prescription documents to correct departments or team members
- 7Partner with pharmacists and Patient Care Coordinators to resolve questions and maintain accurate records
- 8Maintain awareness of order status and prioritize incoming work based on urgency and completeness
- 9Identify recurring intake issues and escalate them appropriately
- 10Follow established privacy security and pharmacy procedures for patient records
- 11Analyze documentation gaps and workflow concerns to improve processes
Requirements11
- 12+ years in pharmacy operations prescription processing or related environment
- 2Active pharmacy technician registration in New Jersey
- 3Eligibility to obtain Texas registration and additional state registrations as needed
- 4Experience reviewing prescription information including medications dosage directions quantities and supplies
- 5Knowledge of pharmacy benefits insurance verification or benefits analysis
- 6Strong attention to detail managing high-volume patient and prescription data
- 7Familiarity with pharmacy management systems electronic patient records or similar technology
- 8Fertility pharmacy experience preferred
- 9PCTB Certification valued
- 10Work in fast-paced technology-enabled pharmacy environment
- 11Bilingual skills a plus
