What You'll Do11
- 1Conducts essential responsibilities in a manner consistent with OhioHealth’s Service Excellence Standards of Behavior and Core Values: Compassion, Excellence, Inclusion, Integrity, and Stewardship
- 2Reviews provider orders for correct drug choice, dosage form, dosing schedule, and possible drug-drug interactions or allergies
- 3Dispenses and compounds medications while ensuring appropriate labeling and integrity
- 4Manages individuals’ drug therapy by initiating, monitoring, and modifying prescriptions in collaboration with a provider
- 5Provides drug information to providers, other health care professionals, and patients as needed
- 6Directs and guides pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support personnel
- 7Partners with individuals to prevent, manage, and/or slow disease progression through patient advocacy and education
- 8Leads safety, stewardship, and utilization strategies for designated site(s)
- 9Facilitates and manages activities of various site and system committees
- 10Develops, enforces, and maintains policies promoting patient outcomes
- 11Provides associate and learner development and training for pharmacy staff
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
- 2Current Ohio pharmacist license
- 3Completion of a Pharmacy Practice residency or equivalent hospital experience
- 45+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 5Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
