What You'll Do9

  • 1Gather medical records, bills, and police reports within the first 30 days of case intake.
  • 2Draft settlement demands and negotiate with insurance adjusters to secure fair compensation.
  • 3Maintain case files and update case management software with every client communication and legal document.
  • 4Communicate with clients, medical providers, and lien holders to expedite treatment and resolve liens.
  • 5Track statutes of limitations and ensure all deadlines are met for filings and discovery.
  • 6Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy and prepare trial binders for litigation.
  • 7Review medical summaries and damages to identify gaps in evidence.
  • 8Coordinate independent medical examinations and expert witness scheduling.
  • 9Manage subrogation and Medicare/Medset liens to maximize client recovery.

Requirements8

  • 13+ years of experience as a plaintiff personal injury case manager or paralegal.
  • 2Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and case management software (e.g., Needles, Smart Advocate).
  • 3Strong organizational and time-management skills to juggle multiple deadlines.
  • 4Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and provider interactions.
  • 5Ability to negotiate and prepare legal documents with high accuracy.
  • 6Self-motivated with sound judgment to work independently and adapt quickly.
  • 7Professional attitude and discretion with confidential client information.
  • 8Associate’s degree in paralegal studies or equivalent legal experience.
