What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with all care needs a resident might require
- 2Maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information
- 3Notify the nurse director of resident condition changes
- 4Support dining operations including meal service and table setup
- 5Participate in scheduled activities and transport residents to appointments
- 6Take accurate vital signs and weights
- 7Help with in-care tasks requiring lifting up to 40 pounds
- 8Stay current with First Aid and CPR certifications
- 9Attend mandatory in-services and other staff meetings
- 10Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
- 11Report changes of condition immediately to nursing leadership
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma one year relevant experience preferred
- 2Current CNA or Home Health Certification from Washington DC
- 3Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- 4Proficiency in English
- 5Experience working with elderly populations
- 6Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- 7Pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
