What You'll Do9
- 1Build trusting relationships with participants and networks to foster recovery

- 6Offer flexible scheduling across mornings evenings and weekends
- 7Navigate community settings using public transportation throughout NYC
- 8Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards
- 9Support participants in achieving housing and personal safety goals
Requirements9
- 1New York Certified Peer Specialist or Provisional status
- 2Minimum two years experience with mental health conditions substance use disorders or trauma histories
- 3Lived experience within mental health systems preferred
- 4Strong communication skills and ability to demonstrate empathy
- 5Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- 6Bilingual Spanish speaking ability preferred
- 7Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance from NY State Justice Center
- 8Commitment to person-centered treatment approaches
- 9Flexibility to adapt to dynamic service environments
