Requirements9

  • 1New York Certified Peer Specialist or Provisional status
  • 2Minimum two years experience with mental health conditions substance use disorders or trauma histories
  • 3Lived experience within mental health systems preferred
  • 4Strong communication skills and ability to demonstrate empathy
  • 5Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • 6Bilingual Spanish speaking ability preferred
  • 7Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance from NY State Justice Center
  • 8Commitment to person-centered treatment approaches
  • 9Flexibility to adapt to dynamic service environments
