Pediatric Private Duty Nurse RN/LPN, Huntersville NC
Overview
RN/LPN provide one-on-one pediatric private duty care in Huntersville, NC. Home Rule offers a stable caseload and flexible evening shifts. What You'll Do6
- 1Deliver RN/LPN skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes, including medication administration and treatment per physician orders.
- 2Monitor patient vitals and neurological status, documenting changes and adjusting care in collaboration with the care team.
- 3Maintain detailed EMR records for each visit, ensuring accuracy and compliance with NC nursing regulations.
- 4Educate families on care plans, medication schedules, and emergency procedures during each shift.
- 5Coordinate with Home Rule nurse supervisors for clinical guidance and resource access, especially during complex cases.
- 6Respond to patient changes with CPR and emergency protocols, stabilizing and communicating as needed.
Requirements6
- 1Active RN or LPN license in North Carolina or compact multi-state license.
- 2Current CPR certification.
- 31+ year of pediatric nursing experience, either in hospital or home care settings.
- 4Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Huntersville and surrounding areas.
- 5Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently during evening shifts.
- 6Commitment to documentation accuracy and patient advocacy.
