What You'll Do9
- 1Prepare and submit accurate medical claims using billing software ensuring regulatory compliance

- 3Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through effective collection strategies
- 4Maintain organized medical records including billing information and payment histories
- 5Utilize EMR and EHR systems to input data and retrieve documentation
- 6Stay current with healthcare claims policies and coding updates
- 7Provide clear explanations to patients about billing statements and insurance coverage
- 8Collaborate with insurance providers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- 9Track and analyze billing metrics to identify areas for improvement
Requirements11
- 15+ years experience in medical billing
- 23-5 seasons managing complex cases
- 3AWS Certified cloud certification preferred
- 4CPC Card credential required
- 5BCBA certification valued
- 6Python proficiency beneficial
- 7React development background advantageous
- 8Kubernetes deployment experience appreciated
- 9Strong knowledge of CPT ICD-9 ICD-10 and DRG coding systems
- 10Familiarity with medical billing platforms and Microsoft Office suite
- 11Proven ability to handle high-volume billing environments
