What You'll Do11
- 1Provide clinical and administrative support for providers patients and office operations
- 2Greet and register patients as they arrive
- 3Obtain medical history vital signs and intake
- 4Prepare patients for x-rays perform and document routine labs
- 5Assist with wound irrigation and quality control testing
- 6Maintain order and cleanliness of waiting room area
- 7Follow safety practices and respond to emergencies
- 8Report operational changes to management team
- 9Enhance practice reputation through proactive service recovery
- 10Assist with patient complaints and service recovery
- 11Apply splints and support nurses/providers during procedures
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or ged
- 2Prior experience as a medical assistant
- 3Knowledge of ekg placement and processing in children
- 4Ability to obtain lab tests via nasal swab and venipuncture
- 5Strong communication and organizational skills
- 6Pediatric experience and willingness to multitask in fast-paced environment
- 7Comfortable with computers and microsoft office suite
- 8Willingness to learn medical software
- 9Experience with medical records preferred
- 10Professional and friendly demeanor
