Overview
You will own 1:1 pediatric care for a 3-year-old with a g-tube, delivering weekend day shifts in Eagan, MN. You'll manage trach, vent, and g-tube support, backed by a 24/7 clinical team. This role stands out with up to $4,000 sign-on bonus and shift bonuses up to +$2/hour.
What You'll Do8
- 1Provide 1:1 nursing care for a pediatric client with a g-tube during weekend day shifts.
- 2Administer medications, feeds, and treatments per the care plan.
- 3Monitor vital signs and neurological status, documenting changes promptly.
- 4Perform trach care and suctioning, ventilator management, and emergency response.
- 5Communicate with the care team and family to adjust care plans as needed.
- 6Maintain a clean, safe home environment for the child.
- 7Educate family members on care techniques and equipment use.
- 8Coordinate with 24/7 nursing support for any clinical issues.
Requirements7
- 1Active RN or LPN license in Minnesota
- 2Current CPR certification
- 3No experience required for trach, vent, or g-tube care; training provided
- 4Willingness to work weekend day shifts (Sat-Sun, 8-hour shifts)
- 5Reliable transportation to Eagan, MN (55122)
- 6Comfort with pediatric clients and home health settings
- 7Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for patient handling
