What You'll Do10
- 1Build and support IEP goals for each student in your care
- 2Communicate progress and challenges with teachers and families
- 3Use individualized reinforcement techniques to support behavior and academics
- 4Support the classroom teacher with behavior reinforcement and instructional activities
- 5Create a safe, productive classroom environment
- 6Partner with therapists and specialists to ensure cohesive student support
- 7Document student progress and update records regularly
- 8Attend team meetings to align on student plans
- 9Assist in implementing accommodations and modifications as outlined in IEPs
- 10Collaborate to ensure smooth day-to-day school operations
