Experienced Payroll Manager leading payroll operations for multi-location organization. Oversees accurate timely compliant payroll processing serves as subject matter expert for payroll systems reporting taxation audits and employee support. What You'll Do14
- 1Manage end-to-end payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees
- 2Ensure payroll transactions are processed accurately and on schedule
- 3Review payroll data including earnings deductions garnishments tax withholdings and adjustments
- 4Validate timekeeping records overtime calculations holiday pay and special payroll circumstances
- 5Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll regulations and tax requirements
- 6Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
- 7Prepare payroll-related reports metrics and compliance documentation for leadership
- 8Partner with vendors and payroll providers to troubleshoot issues and resolve discrepancies
- 9Support employee education regarding payroll processes timekeeping requirements and self-service tools
- 10Support internal and external audits by providing payroll documentation and analysis
- 11Develop maintain and enhance payroll procedures controls and standard operating procedures
- 12Analyze payroll trends identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- 13Provide timely professional confidential support to employees and managers
- 14Resolve complex payroll issues while maintaining high standards of customer service
Requirements11
- 15+ years progressive payroll experience including substantial hands-on payroll processing responsibilities
- 2Advanced experience using UKG Pro payroll systems
- 3Strong knowledge of payroll regulations wage and hour laws payroll taxation and compliance requirements
- 4Experience processing payroll for both hourly and salaried employee populations
- 5Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables VLOOKUP XLOOKUP reconciliation and reporting
- 6Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Accounting Business Administration Finance or related field
- 710+ years payroll HR or operational experience
- 8Experience supporting large multi-location organizations
- 9Strong understanding of benefits administration and payroll-related deductions
- 10Experience managing payroll audits tax reconciliations and compliance reporting
- 11Background working closely with HR Finance and Operations leadership
