Payroll Administrator, UKG/UltiPro & Certified Payroll
Overview
Own daily payroll operations for multiple business units with a focus on accuracy and compliance at scale. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support certified payroll reporting and prevailing wage requirements. This role offers a hybrid schedule after training with three days on site and two remote. You’ll work within a manufacturing environment and contribute to department initiatives while maintaining data integrity.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and process regular payroll for assigned business units ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- 2Prepare and maintain prevailing wage and certified payroll reporting for applicable projects
- 3Investigate and respond to payroll questions from employees and internal partners
- 4Review and enter payroll adjustments in alignment with company policy and compliance
- 5Process and validate time data from multiple units to support payroll accuracy
- 6Analyze payroll data using systems and spreadsheets to resolve discrepancies
- 7Provide operational payroll support while team members focus on broader department initiatives
- 8Support bi-monthly payroll cycles for 101 to 500 employees
- 9Maintain high accuracy in inquiries, adjustments, and time entry
- 10Collaborate with internal teams to improve payroll workflows and reporting
Requirements10
- 13+ years in a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- 2Hands-on full-cycle payroll processing experience including automated environments
- 3Background in certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting
- 4Construction industry payroll experience is strongly preferred
- 5Proficiency with payroll systems such as UKG or UltiPro is preferred
- 6Strong Excel skills including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
- 7Ability to manage payroll inquiries, adjustments, and time entry accurately
- 8Experience supporting bi-monthly payroll for populations ranging from 101 to 500
- 9Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- 10Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in payroll administration or related field
