What You'll Do6
- 1Execute delegated patient care interventions such as vital sign monitoring bathing feeding wound care hygiene assistance room cleaning and emotional support
- 2Manage environmental and inventory tasks to maintain a safe clean and appropriately equipped critical care environment
- 3Support efficient department operations to achieve optimal patient and family outcomes
- 4Obtain and demonstrate current BLS CPR certifications
- 5Pass required clinical competency assessments
- 6Maintain physical stamina and meet all job‑related demands
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or GED certification
- 2Certified in Basic Life Support and CPR with current credentials
- 3One year of patient care technician experience in an acute hospital setting
- 4Completed approved Patient Care Technician training program
- 5Completed approved certified medical assistant training
- 6One year of EMT or field medic experience preferred
- 7Fluency in another language is a plus
- 8Previous medical or surgical experience is a strong preference
