Patient Care Technician, Rehabilitation Hospital & Per Diem Days
Overview
HonorHealth Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a Patient Care Technician PCT to support patient care at our Scottsdale, AZ campus. You will work under a Registered Nurse in a 24/7 inpatient rehab setting, assisting with daily activities and documenting care. This role offers per diem daytime shifts with orientation to set you up for success and potential future full-time opportunities.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build patient rapport and assist with activities of daily living to support recovery
- 2Transport patients to treatment areas and assist with transfers
- 3Assist with dressing, showering, bathing, and oral feeding to maintain comfort and dignity
- 4Answer patient calls and perform hourly rounds to promote safety and well being
- 5Participate in patient turning/repositioning and document care provided
- 6Perform duties as assigned by the RN to contribute to physical well being
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Hospital experience as a patient care technician or nursing assistant or related field
- 3Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment
- 4Active enrollment or completion of nursing studies preferred
- 5Ability to work 12 hour day shifts and per diem schedule
