What You'll Do11
- 1Build and operate hemodialysis machines following CMS protocols
- 2Lead patient education on adequacy measures and disease processes
- 3Perform vascular access cannulation and administer heparin as authorized
- 4Calculate ultrafiltration goals and program dialysis machines accurately
- 5Document pre/post treatment vitals and maintain sterile environments
- 6Coordinate transitional care for first four weeks post-dialysis initiation
- 7Maintain infection control standards and educate patients/families
- 8Assist in training direct patient care staff under RN supervision
- 9Prepare lab specimens and coordinate specimen courier services
- 10Conduct machine safety checks and troubleshoot alarms
- 11Ensure accurate record keeping for quality improvement initiatives
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2CPC Card certified in dialysis technology
- 35+ years experience with hemodialysis machines
- 4State nursing license and dialysis technician certification
- 5Ability to pass Ishihara color blindness test
- 6Strong communication skills for patient education
- 7Physical stamina for standing and bending over frequently
- 8Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and vascular access evaluation
- 9Knowledge of QEP and CQI processes
- 10Proficiency in maintaining sterile environments
- 11Commitment to patient-centered care standards
