Overview

You take responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each dialysis patient at a skilled nursing facility. Partner with dialysis RNs to deliver hemodialysis treatment. Work autonomously at Augustine Manor-Hilliard with a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule. This role stands out for its independent setting and direct impact on patient outcomes.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, measuring and recording stats.
  • 2Set up and operate hemodialysis machines with precision.
  • 3Document patient observations and update records in MS Word and Outlook.
  • 4Collaborate with dialysis RNs to adjust treatment plans and ensure quality care.
  • 5Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate to appropriate clinical staff.
  • 6Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the dialysis session.
  • 7Support additional sites as business needs change, maintaining flexibility in schedule.
  • 8Maintain OCDT certification and apply core dialysis skills consistently.

Requirements6

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2OCDT certification (must be active and current).
  • 3Basic computer skills with proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
  • 4Ability to work part-time schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 4:30a-3p.
  • 5Willingness to work autonomously in a skilled nursing facility.
  • 6Preferred: background in training, teaching, or healthcare education.
