- 2Verifies patient information and ensures completed paperwork
- 3Obtains copies of insurance cards driver license and updates demographic records
- 4Compiles and maintains all forms and documents in patient medical records
- 5Maintains appointment scheduling system based on patient requests and system capabilities
- 6Follows No-Show procedures and completes reminder calls
- 7Answers phone calls promptly screens messages and routes appropriately
- 8Distributes information to nursing and medical support staff accurately
- 9Collects patient co-pay and outstanding balances
- 10Prepares office batches and balances payments daily
- 11Serves as liaison between patients and medical support staff
- 12Communicates with insurance companies for referrals and scheduling assistance
- 13Checks out patients providing visit details and schedules future appointments
- 14Maintains clean front desk and waiting area
- 15Enters patient clinical information into EMR as needed
- 16Participates in Patient Centered Medical Home Team
