What You'll Do20

  • 1Develop and manage paid or unpaid internship opportunities for CTE and non-CTE students
  • 2Partner with School Counseling to guarantee MyCAP portfolio completion for all students
  • 3Coordinate dual enrollment alignment with MyCAP goals and graduation competencies
  • 4Organize annual College & Career Fairs featuring colleges employers and arts organizations
  • 5Manage community service relationships and track service hour progress
  • 6Proctor standardized tests such as SAT PSAT MAP AP as needed
  • 7Serve as liaison with ProArts Consortium and higher education partners
  • 8Support Creative Director monitoring CTE programs in Graphic Design Fashion Technology and Multimedia Entertainment Production
  • 9Collaborate with Inclusion Specialist to provide transition services for students with disabilities
  • 10Handle CTE operational tasks including inventory budget equipment and safety standards
  • 11Track competency skill tracking within the Skills Library
  • 12Maintain documentation for all CTE programs and attend district CTE meetings
  • 13Lead weekly meetings for BAA CTE teachers and enforce 100-hour internship requirement
  • 14Assess CTE performance analyze outcomes and recommend improvements
  • 15Build relationships with colleges employers and arts industry partners for summer and year-round opportunities
  • 16Collect analyze and report data on student participation outcomes and satisfaction
  • 17Participate in DESE and BPS trainings and conduct site visits related to pathways
  • 18Collaborate with BAAF and external funders to secure grants and expand programming
  • 19Oversee CTE administrative duties including budgeting equipment and safety compliance
  • 20Ensure all students meet credit hour requirements through program advisory committees

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor’s degree and minimum five years of education workforce development or youth program coordination experience
  • 2Proven partnership development with employers colleges or nonprofits
  • 3Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills
  • 4Commitment to equity inclusion and support for diverse learners including students with disabilities and English Learners
  • 5Understanding of arts education and its role in career preparation
  • 6Experience in urban public schools
  • 7Master’s degree preferred in Education Arts Administration Counseling or related field
  • 8Familiarity with MyCAP Naviance MassCIS or similar career planning platforms
  • 9Knowledge of DESE Innovation Pathways Early College or Work-Based Learning frameworks
  • 10Ability to maintain detailed records for CTE programs and comply with state reporting requirements
