What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare tissue samples for histological examination using embedding sectioning and staining techniques
- 2Assist with pathology testing procedures following laboratory standard operating procedures

- 4Collect process and handle tissue specimens adhering to aseptic techniques
- 5Document procedures in Laboratory Information Systems maintaining precise records
- 6Support immunohistochemistry techniques to aid disease diagnosis
- 7Follow CLIA regulations and hospital policies for safety and compliance
- 8Maintain sterile environments and follow aseptic protocols
Requirements5
- 1Minimum associate degree in Chemistry Biology Physiology or related science
- 2Experience with surgical specimens
- 3Prior pathology laboratory experience preferred
- 4Work authorization available
