Overview
The Molecular Technologist owns pre-analytical analytical and post-analytical processes for specimen processing and participates in QA QC QI procedures. This role supports troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
What You'll Do17
- 1Perform simple to complex assays using established protocols
- 2Read understand and adhere to SOPs policies and protocols
- 3Execute pre-analytical analytical and post-analytical testing accurately and timely
- 4Report results through the Laboratory Information System
- 5Prepare clinical specimens and identify related problems
- 6Establish and perform quality control measures such as temperature monitoring and instrument maintenance
- 7Document daily weekly monthly and quarterly quality control activities
- 8Identify issues affecting test performance reporting or instrument functions
- 9Troubleshoot findings and report to supervisor manager or director
- 10Document corrective actions for deviations from performance specifications
- 11Assist supervisor in maintaining efficient workflow and report delays
- 12Monitor turnaround time and workflow processes
- 13Prepare validation documentation for new tests and procedures
- 14Maintain consistent testing methods for patient samples
- 15Clean and maintain lab equipment and workspace
- 16Track inventory for reagents consumables and ancillaries
- 17Follow health safety regulations and chemical hygiene procedures
Requirements9
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience
- 3Bachelor`s degree in chemical physical biological or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution
- 4Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
- 5CPC Card certification
- 6BCBA certification
- 7AWS Certified
- 8AWS Certified
- 9Kubernetes
