ClariMed seeks a Participant Recruitment & Study Startup Manager to lead participant recruitment and study startup for human factors research studies. You will own recruitment strategy, enrollment goals, and startup plans across multiple concurrent studies, partnering with project leads and clients. 5+ years in participant recruitment or clinical research operations is essential. This role drives operational readiness from planning through launch, ensuring studies start on time with qualified participants.
What You'll Do9
- 1Lead recruitment efforts for 3-5 human factors studies simultaneously, developing strategies that match participant profiles and enrollment targets.
- 2Oversee participant sourcing, outreach, pre-screening, scheduling, and enrollment, maintaining a positive experience.
- 3Monitor recruitment metrics and adjust strategies when enrollment lags, ensuring study timelines hold.
- 4Build and maintain relationships with participant databases, community groups, and recruitment partners to expand sourcing channels.
- 5Ensure participant records are accurate and compliant with privacy requirements, using CRM tools.
- 6Partner with project leads during study startup to define operational needs and create recruitment timelines.
- 7Coordinate recruitment activities with study schedules, flagging risks and proposing solutions before launch.
- 8Coach and prioritize the recruitment team's workload, setting expectations and providing feedback.
- 9Develop standardized recruitment processes and best practices, recommending improvements to staffing and workflows.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in participant recruitment, clinical research, or human factors research operations.
- 22+ years leading or managing a recruitment team or function.
- 35+ years managing multiple projects with conflicting deadlines, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- 4Proven success developing recruitment strategies for diverse participant populations.
- 5Hands-on experience with CRM systems, scheduling platforms, or research management software.
- 6Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactions.
- 7Ability to think strategically while executing day-to-day tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- 8Experience building relationships with community organizations and recruitment partners.
