What You'll Do9
- 1Perform janitorial and cleaning tasks within assigned areas to meet quality standards and safety guidelines
- 2Use protective gear during all cleaning functions
- 3Complete cleaning assignments on schedule
- 4Report equipment and cleaning product needs or malfunctions to supervisors
- 5Dust mop and damp mop floors in various areas including classrooms and common spaces
- 6Clean and sanitize bathrooms classrooms and common areas
- 7Remove trash empty wastebaskets and perform related duties as assigned
- 8Respond promptly to paging system alerts and customer requests
- 9Follow infection control and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Previous custodial janitorial experience in a school setting preferred
- 3Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- 4Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently
- 5Must complete all responsibilities without supervision after training
- 6Must be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts
- 7Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily
- 8Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds
- 9Must be able to work around food and cleaning products
- 10Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state local and/or customers
- 11Must provide a criminal background check
