Overview
You own the nightly cleaning of a bank branch in Detroit, delivering a spotless space for the next business day. This part-time role places you within a 5-10 mile radius of your home, with shifts after 6pm. You'll work independently, manage your time, and report directly to the office. With consistent hours and a clear scope, you'll build a routine that makes every visit count.
What You'll Do10
- 1Arrive at the assigned bank within your scheduled time window and complete all cleaning tasks.
- 2Dust and wet mop all vinyl and ceramic tile floors, and vacuum all carpets and mats.
- 3Clean and sanitize all restrooms, including fixtures, counters, and mirrors.
- 4Restock toilet tissue, hand towels, and soap supplies in restrooms and break areas.
- 5Empty trash receptacles and replace liners, following the bank's specific recycling and trash procedures.
- 6Dust horizontal surfaces such as computer monitors, file cabinets, and desks to keep them free of buildup.
- 7Clean door glass, spot clean walls, and keep the janitor's closet tidy and organized.
- 8Maintain onsite equipment like vacuum cleaners, reporting any malfunctions to the office.
- 9Lock doors and set the alarm when leaving, and report any facility issues or supply needs.
- 10Complete any additional daily requests from the customer and log them with the office.
Requirements7
- 11+ years of janitorial or cleaning experience, preferably in commercial settings
- 2Ability to work evenings after 6pm, Monday through Friday
- 3Capable of lifting 25+ pounds and standing for extended periods
- 4Reliable transportation to travel within a 5-10 mile radius of your home
- 5Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- 6Good communication skills to report issues and interact with customers
