Cleaning Specialist, Commercial Janitorial
Overview
You will own nightly cleaning operations for commercial offices in Detroit, covering restrooms, common areas, and hard floors at 35 hours per week. You will work Monday through Friday from 7pm to 12am with onsite supervision and full training provided. This role offers a steady schedule and the chance to join a growing building maintenance team serving SE Michigan.
What You'll Do7
- 1Clean restrooms including stocking consumables such as paper towels and soap
- 2Vacuum offices and common areas, ensuring carpets and rugs are spotless
- 3Mop hard floors and operate an auto-scrubber for large surface areas
- 4Remove trash from all bins and replace liners throughout the building
- 5Wipe and disinfect surfaces, including desks, counters, and door handles
- 6Clean glass surfaces including windows, partitions, and entry doors
- 7Inspect completed areas and report any maintenance issues to the onsite supervisor
Requirements6
- 1No prior experience required, training is provided
- 2Ability to work the scheduled shift Monday to Friday, 7pm-12am
- 3Reliable transportation to the Detroit worksite
- 4Physical capability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds
