Part-Time Evening CDL Instructor, Classroom — Training Provided
Overview
Take ownership of classroom CDL theory instruction in the evenings for aspiring drivers. You will help students build foundational knowledge before practical driving, with comprehensive training provided if you have no prior instructing experience. This role offers part-time hours with potential to transition to full-time and does not require current CDL ownership, but previously held Class A CDL within 3 years is encouraged. You’ll work in a safety-first, welcoming environment focused on clear communication and student engagement.

Requirements5
- 1Must have held a Class A CDL current, OR previously held and lapsed no more than 3 years ago
- 2Minimum 2 years of Class A commercial driving experience
- 3Clean CDL history with no recent disqualifying offenses
- 4Able to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- 5Strong knowledge of CDL general knowledge, air brakes, and combination vehicle material
