Parent & Me Soccer Instructor, Youth Sports & Early Childhood
Overview
Soccer coach for our Parent & Me program in Santa Monica. You will lead energetic sessions for toddlers ages 18 months to 3 years and their parents, introducing basic soccer through fun activities. You’ll work with a collaborative team of coaches in a supportive environment and receive on the job training. The role emphasizes safety, positivity, and engaging families in a structured program.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build engaging, age-appropriate sessions for toddlers and parents
- 2Lead high-energy classes and demonstrate basic soccer skills in a playful way
- 3Guide parents on how to support their child’s learning during activities
- 4Set up and take down equipment before and after sessions
- 5Communicate with parents in a friendly, professional manner
- 6Ensure safety and well-being of all participants at all times
- 7Maintain a fun, patient attitude while working with young children
- 8Represent the company and its values in a positive manner
- 9Create an inclusive environment where every child can participate
- 10Maintain punctuality, energy, and organization across locations
Requirements10
- 1Must be at least 18 years old
- 2High school diploma with some college preferred
- 3Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- 4Available most Monday-Saturday mornings and/or afternoons
- 5Ability to run, bend, lift, and engage in physical activity with toddlers
- 6Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- 7Experience with toddlers or young children (coaching, teaching, babysitting, etc.)
- 8Friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality
- 9Knowledge of soccer fundamentals is a plus but not required
- 10CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
