What You'll Do9
- 1Transport students to and from school safely
- 2Secure students in chairs using appropriate safety restraints
- 3Provide safe transportation to special education students
- 4Maintain all equipment and vehicles in proper working order
- 5Conduct vehicle inspections daily
- 6Follow GPS instructions and local maps
- 7Obtain 7D certification for qualified drivers
- 8Drive vehicles responsibly and adhere to traffic laws
- 9Communicate effectively with riders and monitors
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or GED required
- 2Age 21 or older
- 3Valid driver's license with three years of experience
- 4Ability to read maps or follow GPS instructions
- 5Pass a CORI and background check
- 6Experience with 7D certification process
- 7Clean driving record
- 8Strong communication skills verbal and written
- 9Familiarity with the service area
